‘I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream For Ice Cream At Reading Terminal Market’
Celebrate Philadelphia’s rich ice cream heritage by cooling off at The Ice Cream Scoop festival July 29 from 10 am to 4 pm at the Reading Terminal Market.
The event will bring together local independent ice cream artisans and Reading Terminal merchants for a day of ice cream specials and lots of fun!
RTM is the home of Bassett’s Ice Cream, a fifth-generation family business and a Philadelphia tradition since 1861. In addition to Bassetts, the Reading Terminal Market has invited independent frozen treat companies such as Little Baby’s, Franklin Fountain, Zsa’s, and Li’l Pop Shop to join them for the festivities.
Guests will also enjoy over 15 ice cream specials including chocolate funnel cake topped with ice cream, chocolate dipped ice cream sandwiches, waffles and ice cream, ice cream whoopee pies, ice cream floats, and much more.
There will be fun for all ages including an ice cream eating contest with prizes, photo booth, ice cream shuffleboard, and a variety of arts and crafts for kids.
Some come on out, scream for ice cream, while cooling off during The Philly Ice Cream Scoop festival!
